LEARNING FROM LANDSCAPE

Let's revisit the word school, derived from scholé - meaning leisure.

Let's reconnect leisure to learning,

taking the time to explore, observe and experiment.

Let's reimagine studios and laboratories,

set in our backyard.

Let's revive literacy of our landscapes.

SEA School is a mobile learning centre for Science, Ecology and the Arts.

Based in Dunmore East, Ireland, we convert coves into classrooms all across the sunny south-east.

Through environmental activities, citizen science, field exploration and workshops, SEA School builds community-centric knowledge in coastal and marine systems.
